Handoff
Handoff is HoloMemory sample No. 56 in The Last Caretaker.
There isn't a safe way to do what they're doing. Rowboats are highly sensitive to shifting weight and can easily capsize if their center of gravity moves too much to one side. However, the man's inflatable raft is failing, so they have no choice but to attempt a dangerous transfer. The real risk isn't the handover of the child. It's when he attempts to climb aboard. We don't know the end result of their actions.
