Signal Wave
Signal Wave is HoloMemory sample No. 63 in The Last Caretaker.
Without radios or flares, the human body itself must communicate the message. They're spending their last strength in an effort to be seen by a distant passing vessel. They wave desperately, not because they believe they'll be seen, but because not waving means surrendering to an eventual death.
Three adult subjects stand on an unstable floating platform. Two of them perform repeated overhead signal motions with a fabric attached to a rod.
