Passing Boat
Passing Boat is HoloMemory sample No. 43 in The Last Caretaker.
These people are waving to a passing boat. This is the moment rescue becomes visible, but still doesn't arrive. That may be worse than never seeing it at all. The people wave because they believe the boat hasn't noticed them. It has. But, they keep waving because accepting that truth would mean the end of hope.
Three adult subjects positioned at the edge of a platform. All subjects direct arm signals toward something unseen by the scan.
