Mountain of Resources
Mountain of Resources is Cave painting sample No. 687 in The Last Caretaker.
The image shows an outline sketch of a woolly mammoth, portrayed as enormous and powerful. Orbit interprets the drawing as carrying meanings tied to food, danger, resources, tools, and ultimately awe. Early humans preserved the memories of encounters that mattered the most. In this case, a woolly mammoth represented a mountain of resources and therefore stood for a hunt that was both highly desirable and extremely dangerous.
Large proboscidean quadruped shown in side profile. Extended front appendage and large projecting head structures are visible.
