Machine Warmth is HoloMemory sample No. 47 in The Last Caretaker.
They're sleeping where the machine leaks warmth. That's not comfort. It's survival finding the smallest mercy left in their environment. When rooms stop serving as shelter, people curl beside pipes, engines, and machines that were never meant to be kind, only useful.
Two adult subjects assume postures of rest beside active heat-emitting machinery. Proximity suggests use of the waste heat for thermal support.
