Talon Shark ID-407 is HoloMemory sample No. 126 in The Last Caretaker.
The shark obeyed the command to die. That's the unbearable part. It was born and built to guard, hunt, return, and submit. When the final command came, it dutifully swam itself to the termination platform like a loyal machine. Yet, it wasn't just a machine. The operator understood too late that they created a living machine capable of suffering and feeling fear. Still, they required it to die according to protocol.
