Returned Keys
Returned Keys is HoloMemory sample No. 99 in The Last Caretaker.
Keys symbolize an eventual return. Here, they mean the opposite. One person is giving away a home, a room, a duty, or a life they can no longer keep. There's no ceremony for this kind of ending. Just a small piece of metal pressed into another person's hand. The former owner turns away before they can feel anything.
Two adult human subjects in close exchange posture. A small access object is transferred from one subject's hand to the other's hand. The giver turns away.
