Leak Patch is HoloMemory sample No. 31 in The Last Caretaker.
They're not repairing the room. They're buying time. One pair of hands holds a jerry-rigged seal in place while the other tries to make tape, cloth, and plastic into something reliable. This is what shelter becomes at the end of the world. Safety is a leak that's been slowed down by people with nowhere else to go.
