Before Words
Before Words is Cave painting sample No. 505 in The Last Caretaker.
A human hand sought to make their cave feel less empty. These marks may have carried meanings related to signs, paths, names, warnings, or memory. Orbit records the deeper lesson: humans used stone to store meaning that could live beyond the moment it was born.
Multiple straight and undulating lines recorded on stone. Pattern is non-random, but intended meaning is unresolved.
